these have been the greatest like, 8 days in a really long time.
I had a blast when my parents were gone. missed them of course, but being able to do whatever the fuck I want and coming home whenever the fuck I want/not coming home at all was great. I wish I could have videotaped everything that happened. too drunk to remember most of it. but I know it was great.
I'll update with pictures/more detailed infoz sometime in the near future perhaps.
pretty sure no one reads this to care anyway.
k bye!

So I've fallen behind on my concert updates, terrible on my part. But lets recap! The Academy Is... They were freaking excellent as always. The opening bands however made me want to cry. They all pretty much stunk (You Me At Six, Set Your Goals, The Secret Handshake). I tried to like them but they just got worse and worse. Thank God for TAI. Beckett is so fun to watch and they all really get into it. Worth the wait. I left before Mayday Parade though, I had totally had enough haha.
Cobra Starship/Boys Like Girls: This show was one of the best of the year. All of the opening bands were really good. Versa Emerge definitely will grow into something great, they already have it. Rocket To The Moon were good as well, they had a lot of fun and so did the crowd. The Maine I really liked, they covered Def Leppard which my mom enjoyed haha. Then was Cobra. Now lets go back to the meet and greet, they're always so nice to meet! Mike made friends with Gabe and Alex haha. Joey was a grump but he made the rounds and my mom didn't do anything embarrassing haha. When I got to Gabe and had him sign my While The City Sleeps...cd he said 'Thanks for having our first cd, that's really cool!' Such a nice guy. Alex shook my hand and introduced himself, too cute haha. I totally got confused with all the things being passed around to get signed at one point and for that I felt stupid but they're still so sweet. The group picture came out well, but they're all so tall!! I felt so short haha. Now as for their show, AMAZING. They have so much energy and the crowd gets so freaking into it. You can't help but smile and be happy. They sounded awesome and I love watching Gabe dance haha. I really can't wait to see them again. Then it was Boys Like Girls. They were really good as well, they have a whole lot of energy. I'm glad I got the chance to see them because they were interesting and fun to watch. I only stayed for half but that's because they played all the songs I really liked in the first half and I had been told parking was nuts, which it was haha.
So there we have it, the great concert update. Now I'm out of shows for a while, SO SAD! Must find new shows! Haha.
